Kim Ransleben got that very German last name 28 years ago when she became the wife of a high school football coach and math teacher from Fredericksburg, TX. She and Wayne have lived in Temple, TX for the past 17 years where they attend Temple Bible Church. They are blessed with three grown daughters, Cassie, Aisley, and Brennan, and one granddaughter, Camilla, who proves the adage that love for the kids of your kids is precious and powerful. Kim spends her “school year” loving on teen boys, cheering for the Wildcats, discipling women, writing/teaching Bible studies, and writing the curriculum for their church’s children’s ministry. In the spring, you’ll find her leading teens to go out to serve in Backyard Bible Clubs. Then the hot summer months give way to much cooler temperatures in Ukraine where they are so blessed to serve a Baptist church in Bila Tserkva each of the last 12 years. But she is joyfully slowing all of that down in preparation and hope of bringing home a fourth daughter, a little 11 year old named Lera, who lives in an orphanage in the very southern part of Ukraine. They would love your prayers for that 5-year-long wait to be over and her homecoming to happen in the spring of 2018.
